Dear Elianor i am glad that i could get in contact with you thanks to genforum i was surfing on the web trying to find people of the jahshan family that are in the usa because i am inetrested in creating a genealogy tree ! i was so happy to know that there are people out there that are related to me my name is maissa-maria geahchan yes the family name has changed it is not JAHSHAN nor JAHCHAN in Lebanon it is Geahchan jahchan is only for the people in the US i am goign to tell you everything i know about the Geahchan's family we are from in lebanon the geahchan family is a very small family we all come from Beirut the country capitals i come from Msaytbeh the west of beirut and another part comes from ashrafieh the east of beirut my aunt dolly Geahchan married George geahchan who is from achrafieh . me Maissa Geahchan my dad is Gaby geahchan who has a brother and two sisters and is the son of George Geahchan (my grandpa ) who is the son of Gebran Geahchan
who was a trader who opened the several shops and then opened a toy shop known as Gebran geahchan et fils my dad is currently running this business you can check it out on the web hes is one of the best traders in Lebanon he told me when he went to the last family reunion that there wer geahchan's in US australia and many more but who's family name was spelled jahshan he also told me that long time ago a women he is not sure of the name i think najla from the family geahchan travel to the us and then family geahchan grew and grew in the Us . i hope that the info that i provided you is good ciao bye
