Hi there,
I am pretty excited about finding from you what you have found so far. My father is Khalil Najib Jahshan from Jaffa originally from Ramleh. My dad is a living family history so I would like to share with you all and double check your information with his. Here is a little bit from him:
- Khalil is the grandchild of Costantine Jahshan, the last of the Jahshan rulers appointend by the Ottoman Empire. His nick name was Abou Ghanem.
- About Ghanem's children were: Issa (Son Costantine was killed during the bombing of Jaffa in 1947), Najib (Children were: Costantine, Khalil, Ibrahim, Samir, Bishara, Salim, Violet and Sultaneh), Salim (married no children), Masarrah (Son Costantine, and two daughters) , Fridah (George and Touffic ) , Nimeh( Wadih and Huda) , Yakout (married Hannah Jahshan and had many children in Gaza including Khalil, Antoine and Widad).
My dad has a lot of information he is willing to share and doucment. Please correspond directly with us and let us know about the information you have.
