Zaid,Zayed Mishkenot 1920s

Hello all, I'm trying to find my husband's ancestors. They came from the Mishkenot area of Jerusalem, about 1925 or so. Hyman Zaid (Zayed) was a tinsmith there and owned apartments. His wife was named Esther Sha'atel. They were married at 18 and 12 years of age, respectively, and had 10 children, of whom only 4 survived. The children were Aaron, Harry, Eli, and Sadita. They came to the US in 1927 or so, and settled in Brooklyn, NY. Esther died at age 99 in 1997.
The Zaid (Zayed) name appears to be common in the Arab states, but this family is Jewish. I am anxious to correspond with any and all Zaids! Does anyone know them? Can you help me?
Thanks so much for any information!
Mary Ovadia
