Ah - so your family is the one!

I lived in Tempe Arizona for a couple of years as a child and I remember my parents meeting "shirt-tail" relatives that were also interested in the Ison genealogy. I remember my Dad telling me that they had been to Isonville to do some research, but hadn't been able to come up with much. Over the past few years I've often wondered who these relatives were and how they connected to us - it seems our mutual relative is Hamilton Ison, we split from there. Archa (Archibald) was my g-grandfather, he was Hamilton's son. I'm looking for pictures of Archa and his wife, I have a box of old family photos and I remember my dad showing my Archa's picture. There may be others. I'll take some time this weekend and go through the box. It's been fun and informative hearing from my cousins.

Brenda, I'll have more time tomorrow and put down Archa's family and descendents with all the dates I have. I know at least one of his sons were killed in WWII.
