VIRGINIA LAND GRANTS (I don't have the book and page number.)              Date: 1796
Robert Brooke, Esq. Governor of Virginia for 20 shillings sterling paid to the treasury granted to Francis Byrd and Charles Ison a tract of land containing 200 acres surveyed Jan. 20, 1787 and lying in the Co., of Washington on North side of Henderson line on the waters of Holstein.

DEED BOOK A - PAGE 9 - Aug. 3, 1761
Benjamin Stinnet of Amherst County to James Isham of Amherst Co. Stinnet in consideration of a certain promise made by him to James Isham at the time of his intermarrying with his daughter has bargained, sold etc. to Isham 100 acres near Tobacco Row Mountain on HUFF'S CK. It is lower part of 400 ACRES patented to Benjamin Stinnet on June 1, 1750 and is now in Isham's possession.

James Stinnett "Cenior" of Amherst Co. to Daniel Edmonds of same. For 10 pds. 75 acres part of 227 ACRES on N. Fork of HUFF CK. Lines: Jno. Dameron - Thomas Parks, JAMES ISON - Little Branch. Ann Stinnet, wife makes X. Memo: Edmonds to have no part of rent due from Thos. Wittington for the plantation for ensuing year. Witnesses: Jno. Kennedy and Jno. Stinnet

James Stinnet and wife Anne of Amherst Co. to William Camden of same. 35 pds. for 152 acres part of patent of 227 ACRES to James Stinnet on June 1, 1750. X's of grantors.
