hi there i would like to add my interest in the one name study. I am trying to trace my family tree but have stumbling blocks. ie my father always told me thati was not related to the infamous J B Ismay captain of the titanic but everything is pointing in that direction. I can trace my grandfather,Adam Ismay born in seaton cumberland in 1872 and i am certain he was in some way related to the aforesaid. Also Adam Ismay had a daughter Lillian Ismay who went to New Zealand in the early 1960 to a place called whangerei to follow her daughter first name unknown surname haslam who had married a vicar of thatname. Please can you provide any other info?????
