Thomas Ismay b. abt 1820 married Sarah Hale. One of their children was Thomas Robert Ismay b. 22 Dec. 1841 in Cockermouth, England. He married Anita McKiddie and they moved to South America. Their son, Thomas Robert Ismay was born 1871 in Uruguay, and he had sisters named Anne and Lucy. Thomas married isabella Miller Cameron. Their son, Roderick Rice Robert Ismay was born 1907 in Marcos Paz, Argentina. R.R.R. Ismay came to the US in 1942. His son, R.R. Ismay was born in 1943, according to US Public Records Index.
Roderick Rice Robert dropped "Rice" from his name when he came to the States. He was a minister of the Methodist and Episcopal religions.
The family is wondering if they are connected to J. Bruce Ismay of the White Star Line.
