I've just posted an 1851 deed where William Isley is selling to his "beloved son Laban Isley" 100+ acres in Rockingham County. This deed clearly establishes that Laban/Laburn/Labern Isley was indeed a son of William Isley. Laban was born about 1828 and died 2 June 1864 at Gettysburg,Pennsylvania.
