Hi. I'm trying to get more information about Charles P. Isley, who wrote Dune Song, Dune Trail, and the John Isley Genealogy, and who lived in Gary, Indiana, most of his life.
Existing copies of his books are almost impossible to find, and the very few libraries that do own them are typically unwilling to lend the books, because they're so rare.
Does anyone know Isley's birth and death dates, and does anyone have a photo of him that could be copied or emailed in digital form?
I teach English at Ball State University, and one of my students is doing a project on Isley's poetry about the Indiana dunes. We need complete information about Mr. Isley in order to include him in the project. I'll appreciate help that anyone can lend.
