Mike Mathis, RE: Adam Trollinger.
My Adam TROLLINGER was Born: 4-4-1708
at Dietenhausen in the Palatinate (now Baden
Wurettemburg) son of Hans Michael Drollinger,
and Eva (Klemmer) (Drollinger). Adam Troll-
ingers Great Grandfather was: Wendel Droll-
inger (1616-1698) appears to have come from
the "Tyrol" in Austria (from which, accord-
ing to tradition, the name is derived--
"Tyrollnger") to Dietenhausen, where he was
Justice in the Court of Law. My Adam Troll-
iger married: Margaretha Valencia Beck (Troll
inger) January 9-1731 In Dietenhausen.
Margaretha was born in 1700, in Weil,Germany.
In 1745 Adam and Margaretha Valencia Beck
(Trollinger) had settled at the Haw River,
N Carolina. There he established a Union
Lutheran and Reformed Church. Adam Trollinger
died at the Haw River in 1776. He left at
least one son, named, Jacob Heinrich (Henry
Jacob) Trollinger Born August 3,1731 at
Dietenhausen. He came with his father to
America in 1738.
Wendel Drollinger is my GGGGGGGGG-Grandfather
Hans Michael and Eva (Klemmer) Trollinger was
my GGGGGGG-Grandparents
Adam Trollinger and Margaretha Valencia Beck
(Trollinger) was my GGGGGG-Grandparents
Adam Trollinger had changed his name from
Drollinger but it still has the same meaning
as Trollinger.
So who is your Adam Trollinger? I think in
my Family History, which dates back to 1600
there are at least (3) Adam Trollingers.
