BLAKES WITH y-DNA HAPLOGROUP I2b1 WANTED
Posted by: Barrie Blake (ID *****4997) Date: May 18, 2011 at 11:14:09
  of 779

A well-established group of experienced and capable Blake researchers representing Blake males with y-DNA haplogroup I2b1 is looking for new members to join the group in the pursuit of more information relating to: -
the genealogical lineage of;
the geographic origins of; and
the historic events of;
this branch of the Blake family.

A large amount of information has already been accumulated in all (3) abovementioned areas including the knowledge that this branch of the Blake family descended from the Vikings as is revealed by the specific haplogroup itself; and it is even possible that the common ancestor of this branch arrived in England via Normandy and accompanied William, Duke of Normandy (i.e. William the Conqueror) in his conquest of England in 1066 AD.
