Caldwell-Quine in Isle of Man
HELP
Was told that my Grandfathers family came from Isle of Man.
They lived in Liverpool.
My Grandfather was Alexander Caldwell born 12-8-1902 in Everton Liverpool.Parents were John Duncan Caldwell age 23yrs and Margaret Jane Quine-Caldwell age 21yrs.We found the 1901 Census that had my GreatGreat-Grandfater-James Caldwell who was 59yrs old in 1901.Beside my GreatGreatgrandfather and his son and wife there was the oldest son John Duncan Caldwell who was 1yr old.My grandfather was born a year after the 1901 census. My grandfather was born at 99 Elias Street in Everton Liverpool.Since John Duncan was 23 in 1901 he was born 1878.Margaret Jane Quine-Caldwell was 21 in 1901 she was born in 1880.Heard that the Caldwells and the Quine were from Isle of Man but have not found any proof.Did find out that Margaret Jane Quine-Caldwell remarried after husband died but don't know when John Duncan Sr died. Her new married name was Hallmark and had a daughter named Margaret. They lived at 81 Prince Edwin St.Liverpool.
John Duncan the son was a AIR RAID WARREN during the war and died wife name was Beatrice Caldwell and lived at 9 Attwood Street Liverpool.
So if any one can please help me with the Caldwell and Quine family. My mother and her oldest sister Pearl would be happy to know more about there fathers family. If some one can give me a way to find more Census with maybe James and his wife since i don't know what her name is. Also Margaret Parents have no clue who they are.If any one can help send me in the right direction it would help me alot.
Thanks for your time.
