Hi Carolyn, Thank you very much for your efforts regarding this matter, also sorry for the late response.

Regarding this, I have now got to the point where I have made contact with Dora's family in the IOM.

Their info is that she never married or had children.

I have confirmed my Mother was born in Bangor, North Wales by contact with the Regsitrar of BMD in that location.

The London aspect is a misprint or transposition.

I still need to confirm/place Dora in Bangor in 1920 to confirm she is in fact my Grandmother.

The address in Bangor where my mother was born belonged to the LNER railway company in 1920, I still need to acertian the use of the premises at that time, could have been a hostel or accomodation for staff?

At that time LNER had an engine driver nameed Darwell; NOT Stanley, who had an address in Crewe, Cheshire, co-incidetal?

I have not yet contacted the LNER association due to life, Family, work etc.

I am still awaiting a response from the RC church in Bangor regarding [my Mother's] baptismal records.

I am also on follow up of a number Darwell's, none named Stanley, who fit the profile of my "would be" Grandfather, all brothers who attended the same boarding/public school in Westmorland.

I have been unable to locate any one named Stanley 'D' who fits the profile age wise through any Genealogy records.

Just to confirm the Dora you have located is the same one I am reasearching.

Many thanks again.

MH
