You are absolutely correct that there was no person named Phoebe Isham. I have thoroughly researched the Royal/Isham family. Someone thought the name Isham (Belcher) might be a family name, whereas it is a common male name. There are also those who want to attach their lines to those they think are more prominent. I applaud you for insisting on proof which is so important in genealogy.
