The Ephraim you are seeking was an uncle to my g grandfather. He was the son of John and Susanna (Gustler) Isenberg. 1819-1906 m 1857 to Margaret McCarty 1836-1925. Sphraim was a stone mason. He and Margaret resided at Dixon, Il which is in Whiteside Co or Lee Co. They had Six children:

Lydia Ann 1857-1936 m 1883 to Frederick William Fox 1854-1904 Frederick was a Carpenter and Farm Worker. They resided in Dixon. They had five children.

Ellen Louise Isenberg 1859-1938 m John Edward Lenox 1856-1915. John was a farmer and road builder. They lived at Gap Grove, Lee co, IL Four children

Louise Isenberg 1861-1932 m 1. 1883 to Emery Frazier 1862-1895 m 2 Fred Randall. They resided in Dixon, Il. Two children.

Mary Catherine Isenberg 1863-1964 m 1888 to Lewis Augustus Beatty 1858-1934. They were farmers in Dixon, IL. five children

William Isenberg b 1867 m 1889 to Anna Kinney. Resided at Amboy, IL They had three Children

Edward 1873-1949 Edward resided at Grand Detour, IL Died without issue

This information came from An updated history and genealogical record of th Isenberg Family written by Lillian Isenberg Bahney.
