Hi Bill!
I've followed the Frederick line with interest, wondering if there are connections myself. I don't have a physical copy of the page (am trying to get one, and if I succeed will happily share a transcription + scan), just transcribed copies from several relations. I did see the Bible myself 10 years ago or so, when it was in my father's possession and remember being struck that Joseph's lsat name was spelled differently than his children's and that it was French. I'm pretty certain it was "Laveille" or "Lavielle," but just don't remember. I could kick myself for not making a copy at the time. Since all of the transcriptions match (other than Joseph's last name), I suspect the error rate may be reduced:
Joseph Lavielle or Laveille, b 06 Nov 1787, Pennsylvania, d 12 Feb 1825 (different handwriting, likely a child or in law)
Sarah Iseminger b 01 Jun 1788, d 23 Jan 1828. Married 8 Nov 1808 (u/k location). I should note that I've found KY census records for a Joseph Laville and Joseph Lavill, but of course, those records are too early for more detail than head of household name and tallies of age groups. There is a "Leavell" line in Kentucky, as is a Lavielle or Laveille line; however, it's not very clear that this are my ancestors.

From census records (also backtracked from my father and backwards), I've located William, who does list father born in PA and mother born in KY. William was also born in PA (Philadelphia), d 6 Oct 1867, in Missouri (married Sarah Ann Lucinda Guthrie, also born in KY, d in MO).
I'm now working on Sarah's and Joseph's other children. My dad seems to think they all died in early childhood, which I hope is not the case. Haven't found anything yet. I do have the other "main" lines of my family researched, in some cases very far back. Lavell and Iseminger are the two biggest challenges.
Family verbal "lore" has Joseph as a KY settler, following his father (unknown name) obtaining a land grant/patent, likely for service in the Seven Year War (my father, William /Bill Lavell found a record in an old reference book 25 years ago or more of a land grant to a Lavell or Lavill or Lovill for service in that war, which struck him given the family history). I've obtained some KY land/grant patent copies for men with Lavell variations, and will start researching them this week.
I can't find anything at all about Isemingers in Kentucky during that time period. I've been researching:
Iseminger
Isenminger
Eisenmenger
Eisenmanger
And every other possible variation. I'm also wondering if Joseph was a second marriage for Sarah -- perhaps her married name was Iseminger. She was 20 in 1808, so a second marriage is certainly possible.
There are additional family stories about Indian attacks on William's wife in KY, protecting the children, and I'm sure Joseph and Sarah had a few to share themselves.
Unfortunately, all of my grandparents are long gone, and it's quite a challenge to obtain matching stories from my aunts, father and elderly cousins/aunts/uncles.
I appreciate all of the work you've done with your family line and hope that I'll have a more complete line to share with others in the near future!
