Kenneth,

I did the FamilyTreeDNA Family Finder test. My confusion is that no Isbell cousins or Isbell surnames show up in my matches. I know my grandmother was Ira Isbell daughter of James Levi Isbell who was son of James Richardson Isbell. Is it possible that I did not check a box I should have checked or something. I joined the Isbell Project this morning, I do not know if that will make a difference or not.I thought that the Family Finder test could connect even females through a paternal line

Thank you for any information you can provide.

Rebecca Gallogly
