I have a copy of all the Isbell records from the Fort Worth Archives. I thought I sent you a copy of those records several years back. The Baley Isbell they are referring to was Zachariah Bailey Isbell, that changed his name to Bailey Love while running from the law. I have since moved back to East Texas. Anyone wanting copies of these records can send me a sase and I'll make copies and mail them the records. Marian Brown, 1344 CR 4490, Winnsboro, Texas 75494.
The two boys Allen and Andy Isbell are not Robert Isbell's children, they and a daughter Elizabeth (Betsy) are his brother Johns. Robert Isbell, their uncle.. my line..becomes their legal guardian in 1896. John left on a cattle buying trip and never returned. Some say he was killed and others say he ran off with the money crossed back over into Indian Territory and took up a new life???
One page goes as thus:

I did a little research on this Morris and Love line when I was in Arkansas about 5 years ago. It was a wild trip with snakes and places most normal people wouldn't even consider exploring to find forgotten cemeteries in the deep woods. But who ever said I was normal. (grin)
I have tons of records but have not done research in a couple of years therefore I'm a little rusty on somethings.
I'll pull the records out and get back to you soon.
Does anyone know if Sherman Isbell ever wrote the book he has been working on for years? Has anyone found any new information regarding Zachariah Isbell born @ 1790? Who was the older Zachariah Isbell in Oklahoma in the late 1800's?
Looking Forward to hearing all the latest on our Isbell ancestors.
Sincerely,
Marian Brown
