Thank you so much for the information. I am certainly interested in any Isard/Izard info that can be connected, especially as far back as the 1600's. And yes I do believe that the 2 spellings are the same family- after all the way I found this branch was through the Braswell's who in the 1600's were Bracewell's. The only Isard that I could definitely match up was the Richard Izard appointed guardian in 1668. I have a copy of the will- it is on www.videoranch.net/rob_srwill.htm
I am sorry for myself in that his parents weren't mentioned but at least I can add his daughters along with him, his sister and his fathers names. Thanks, Mary
