I was recently looking at Cdn.Archives Film #T-15292 for my grandparents who crossed the border. Their last name was Isbell but I thought I'd note all the Isabelles I came across - so here they are.
Adolphe Isabelle, last permanent address, Nashua, NH, single, from Armagh, Que., Canadian citizen, race French, Roman Catholic, left Canada Oct. 20, 1919 to reside in U.S., 6 ft. 4", complexion dark, hair brown, eyes brown.
Adrienne Isabelle, port Coatacook, P.I., March 26, 1924 - I didn't copy all the info. here.
Isabelle, Emile, age 21, Nashua, N.H., Chestnut St., male single - more info on microfilm
Isabelle, Francois, returned 5 May 1920, last residence Marquette, Mch., age 39, occupation woodsman, Roman Catholic, left Canada at Montreal June 1892 with parents, back to take up homestead at Cochrane, Ont.
Isabelle, Janine Paul, age 6, female, b. Cohoes, N.Y., French, accompanying father Abraham Isabelle of St. Michel, Que., arriving by highway.
Let me say that my notes are scanty and I probably missed some of the info. on these people. I have given the film number above for those who might be related to these people...and best of luck.
