I am reluctant to go into depth about the relationships of Adrien and Michel to their father(s) since this is not a current posting. Anyone wishing to further discuss may contact me directly at

Jetté gives Adrien and Michel different fathers but the same mother but then he calls the boys "brothers."

If Marie Adam married twice, to two brothers, which may well be the case, Adrien and Michel would be half-brothers which could simplify to "brothers."

Interestingly enough, the PRDH shows the marriages of both Adrien and Michel. Adrien gives his father as Jean while Michel gives his father as Michel.
