Hi,
I'm researching my grandfather's side of the family. I am unable to locate any information on either of his parents. His mother's maiden name was "Isaacson" & his father's name was Anton Pareli Kruger. My grandfather's American name is "Ivar Kruger Sandberg". Ivar was born on 7/22/1882 in Bodo, Norway. He came to America in 1900 at the age of 17 years old. He married Marion B. Berrum on 10/4/1917 in Holmen, Wisconsin. They had 5 children. I beleive that Ivar has atleast 1 sibling because I have met Ivar's neice back in the early 1970's. I can't remember her name but she came to America to visit from Norway. In 1920, Ivar purchaced a passport to go to Norway to visit his mother, he also visited Sweden, Denmark & England before returning to America. He returned to New York on9/7/1920 on the "Stavangerfjord" which left port of Christiana.
Now that I'm at this big brick wall, is there anyone there who could help me out to find out who Ivar's mother is????
