no i have not gotten any earlier information, someone else told me john was william's father, perhaps they have the date(1775) wrong . Possibly william, born 1779 was the father of william, born 1808, 2nd husband to jane nixon.The dates would work as they were married in 1827( not verified)I would really appreciate the info about william's death. I have very little in the way of certificates or pictures, only photocopies from the internet. I started with only my grandfathers name last year and where he died. from that I
got his obituary then I ordered their death certificates which gave me their parent's names and so on. except for photocopies of marriage records, birth records and census records from canada websites.I have no documentation from ireland so the dates I have are from other researchers and not backed up by documents, do you have any from ireland?
