I am trying to trace the ancestors/descendents of John ISAAC and Ruth ROBERTS from Denbighshire.

John Isaac was born ca. 1822/3 in Glyncerrwy, Clynceiriog or Clymbierog (depending on the census taker), Denbighshire, Wales. He married Ruth Roberts (ca. 1827/8 Llangwm, Denbighshire) in june 1849 in Llanfyllin, Denbighshire.

John was a blacksmith by trade. Their known children:

Edward 1851 Tregercog, Denbighshire
John 1858 Pandyisa, Denbighshire

During the 1861 and 1871 census the family lived in Farnworth, Lancashire. John and Ruth still lived there in 1881. John Isaac died in 1884 in Lancashire, Ruth in 1889.

Son Edward ISAAC married twice:

1) september 1871, Bolton, Lancashire to Mary HAMER
2) september 1897, Dewsbury, West-Riding of Yorkshire to Eleanor BAIRSTOW

Known children from the 1st marriage:

Elizabeth, ca. 1873
John, ca. 1874
Sarah Jane, ca. 1878
Alexander, 1880
Edward, ca. 1883
Ruth, ca. 1887
William, ca. 1889
Anne, ca 1890

Edward and Mary's son Alexander (b. Oct 26 1880 - d. Febr. 21 1921) married a woman who was (supposedly) named Melora (Annie) EDWARDS in june 1903 in Dewsbury, West-Riding of Yorkshire. The only child known from this marriage was Robert Alexander ISAAC. Although the marriage can be found in the BMD's, no trace of Melora or Malora Edwards can be found anywhere! All we know is that she was born around 1881 and died Dec 21 1943.

If anybody can help with either the Isaac family or Melora Edwards, it would be greatly appreciated.
