Hi,
With such gracious timing I had additional info on Emma and Adam Ironside today, their obituraries. I still seek contact with their descendants.

Obituary Emma Ironside
Many came from Browns Valley and Community paid their last respects at funeral services held from the Presbyterian Church Saturday afternoon at 2:00 P M with the Reverend Paul Lehner officiating, for Mrs Emma Ironside, 78, pioneer Browns Valley resident. Interment was made in the Valley View Cemetery. Pallbearers were Art Lindstrom, J S Thompson, Stanford Ronning, Jess Stewart, Lewis E Kinney and Palmer Hanson.
Mrs Ironside passed away at Brainer, MN, last Tuesday November 24 at 4:30 P M, suffering with coronary occulsion for the past six months. She had been a resident of Traverse County for the past 72 years.
Mrs Emma Larson Ironside was born January 12 1875, at Prescott, Wisconsin, the daughter of August and Mary Larson. She lived with her parents at Prescott until six years old, when she came to this locality. She was united in marriage to Adam Ironside, November 24 1899, with the Doctor Vallentyne officiating at the wedding ceremony. To this union were born four children.
Mrs Ironside was a member of the Browns Valley Presbyterian Church, and a member of the Eastern Star Lodge of the Masonic Order.
She leaves to mourn her passing two sons, Ellsworth, Edina, MN, and Keith L, Robbinsdale, MN; and one daughter, Mrs W E Fitzsimmons, Brainerd; one borther Emil Larson, St Paul, MN; and two sisters, Mrs A P Simonson, Granville, N D and Mrs A H Stokke, LaCrosse, WI.
Out of town people attending the funeral services were: Gordon Cameron, Mr and Mrs Bill Cameron, Mr and Mrs Floyd Metcalf, Albert Cameron, John, George and Miss Flossie Cameron, all of Wilmot, S D, Mr and Mrs Milton Cameron, Sisseton, S D, Mr and Mrs Art Lundstrom, St Paul, Mr and Mrs Spencer Thompson, Minneapolis, and Mr and Mrs Al Winters, Wheaton, MN.

Obituary Adam Ironside
Funeral services were held from the Presbyterian Church in Browns Valley, Thursday afternoon for Adam Ironside, 79, pioneer resident of Browns Valley, with the Reverend S A Norlemann officiating. Interment was made in the Valley View Cemetery. Pallbearers were Guy Brown, J D Stewart, Ben Falkingham, Arthur Duffield, George Schuett and George Bailey.
Adam Ironside passed away at his home here Saturday evening at 11:15 p m, at the age of 79 years, 3 months and 4 days. Thus came the end of one of the pioneer residents of Browns Valley and Community. Mr Ironside had rugged constitution, but was possessed of a refined type of personality. He made a unique contribution to the upholding of his church during his 54 years as a resident here.
Mr Ironside was born in Fyvie, Scotland, October 29 1867, the son of John and Barbara Bruce Ironside. When 21 years of age he immigrated to America in the year of 1880, and went to St Paul, MN, and two years later moved to Browns Valley, and successfully followed the trade of a blacksmith for 19 years. He also owned and managed a number of farms near Browns Valley, and took an active interest in the upbuilding of this community, serving for a number of years on the Village Council and School Board. He was a faithful member of the Presbyterian Church, always taking an active part in church work. He was a member of the local Odd Fellows Lodge.
He was united in marriage to Emma Larson in Browns Valley November 24 1899, and to this union were born four children, one of whom died in infancy.
Besides his widow, Mr Ironside is survived by two sons, Ellsworth of Edina, MN and Keith of Windom, MN, and one daughter Enid Fitzsimmons, of Brainerd, MN.
Among those from out of town at the funeral service were Mrs Anne Simonson, Granville, N D, Mrs A Stokke, LaCrosse, WI, Mr and Mrs John Ironside, Chokio, MN, Mr and Mrs Floyd Metcalf, Mr and Mrs Will Cameron, Mr and Mrs Gordon Cameron, John, George and Flossie Cameron and Mr and Mrs Albert Cameron, all of Wilmot, S D, Doctor and Mrs William Fitzsimmons, Brainerd, and Mr and Mrs Keith L Ironside, Windom, MN.
