According to the "1885 History of Crawford County", in PA; George Irons was a native of New York City and settled in Conneaut Township, Crawford County, PA in 1816. He was a son of Capt. John Irons, a native of Holland and an old sea Captain, who was drowned in New York harbor. Does anyone have anything else on Capt. John, or siblings of George?
