Dear Debbie,
The first Irmen's left Luxembourg and stopped in Chicago the year before the others left Luxembourg. There was property to sell after Peter died bu there was money to send the first unit to America. Peter's wife Katherine (Mueller) Irmen, her oldest son Michael, Frank, my Great Grandfather, Nicholas (Jr.), the Priest, were part of the second team. The mother stayed as well as Nicholas (Jr) and I believe a sister, who later became as SISTER. Michael and Frank traveled on to St Anthony (Now Mpls) by way of Duluth and walked the trail down from Duluth to St Anthony.
Others have placed my material on the net, however I still have the original translations of the PhotoCopies from file.
A party working for the Luxembourg Government at the time did the Translations (Latin,French and German).
