Your line of the Irmen's come from Luxembourg. My Grandfather Frank Irmen was a younger brother to Michael Irmen, who Homesteaded in St. Michael, M<N., after spending sometime in St Anthony (Now called Minneapolis) MN. His off-springs left Minnesota and Homesteaded in North Dakota. Other members of that line went to Canada and they had families there. You are the result of one of those families.
I have researched our line of the family for over fourteen years and still working on the line.
LDS has the film on file regarding the Irmen's from Luxembourg. They were from the Remick, and Bous Area.
Theordore Irmen was mentioned in his son's death notice and that is all that is known of the oldest of the line.
