Dear Olga,
Thanks for swift reply, It is almost certain Hiern and all the other names came from Hierne, I am trying to trace
the were-abouts of the name from Thomas de Hierne 1348, of Canterbury .until 1550,when the other names appeared
through miss-spelling,there is also a Hiorn in the records.
they all seem to radiate out from Stratford on Avon.
