William Crawford Irick is the son of Elizabeth Irick and Solomon Demarcus. About 1820 Solomon left his wife Mary F. James, and he and Elizabeth set up housekeeping in Anderson Co. Tenn. Elizabeth and Solomon's children went by the name Irick. I don't know if Elizabeth was married to an Irick or if that was her maiden name. Nevertheless, she and Solomon had eleven children together. Elizabeth died after 1870 in Union Co. TN. Two of her daughters married into my direct Wright line in Fentress, Co. TN. If you check the Demarcus DNA line, you'll probably get a match. Please let me know one way or the other. Thanks,
A. Taylor
