There was an Albert E. Irey born December 8, 1866. His parents were Enos Irey and Christina Boyer Irey. Albert's father died n March 1874 and his widow later married Daniel Sult. On December 25, 1889, Albert married Sarah Ellen Click. They had five children: Herman, Allison, Clarence, Inez, and Enos. Albert was a farmer who lived in Marion County, Ohio.

This information was taken from the History of Marion County. This information was given to me by my aunt.

Walter Irey's parents (my grandfather)were Albert and Anna Dawley Irey. He is not the same "Albert" as the above Albert born 1889.

Not sure if this helps as it seems there probably are several Albert Ireys on the Irey family tree.
