they moved to philadelphia in the early turn of the century. My grandparents were married in 1914.My grandmother was a pennsylvania dutch from the tower city pa area. Grandpa was a printer at pomerantz in philly for 50 years-he retired aroung 1959. I dont know why john and alice, his parents left kentucky. My grandfather on the other side is welsh-lewis, and my married name is lloyd-welsh.i had no idea there wer so many ireys around.
