It was customary to use last names as middle names in the 17 and 1800's. In my lineage usually the maiden name of the mother was used as a middle name for her children. Often several children would be given the same middle name even among siblings. Perhaps your grandmother's maiden name was Demeris. I suggest that if you have not already researched this, that you try those lines and see what you come up with. Most Iresons come from England. My grandfather also believed we were from Ireland but I have found otherwise. I hope you have success in your searching and if I find anything on your Ireson line in my searching I will let you know. I am sure that I have seen both Nanola and Lavenia somewhere in my searching and if I find them again I will contact you.
