HI Ralph,
Been awhile since I've been here. Just read your message in regards to Ballinahown. Ballinahown was a Townland in Lacken, Co. Wicklow. This townland was flooded back in 1940 as part of the E.S.B. project to provide Water and Hydro Power to Dublin. My family originally came from Ballinahown. However when my great grandfather William Twyford (1863-1938)married a neighbouring Widow Elizabeth Farrell (1861-1942), he moved to the Farrell household and was now part of Boystown, Baltyboys Upper, as shown in the 1901 and 1911 Census. William and Elizabeth's Marraige produced 8 children, and there was 1 daughter from Elizabeth's previous marraige. One of the 8 born to them was called John. He died when he as about 6 years old. Hope this helps, and any information you could add would be most welcome.
Michael
