Hi Camille!

Very excited to see your post!

I've been researching the Wilkinsons quite intensly for several years now, including traveling to Wexford earlier this year and in 2007. In fact, many generations of my Wilkinson family have made the pilgrimage back to Enniscorthy, even as far back as 1908 (our ancestors left Wexford for Australia 1838-1850's)!

Family lore says there has always been the 1 family of Wilkinson in Enniscorthy. The problem with that is I have been in touch with 2 other Wilkinson families, but unfortunately have not been able to connect us all yet (yes, I believe it IS only 1 family). The story goes there was a Capt Wilkinson who was part of Sir Hardress Waller's regiment that came over with Cromwell in around 1660's.

I met some living Wilkinson's in the area, though none from my branch unfortunately.

Anyway, I have a little bit of info on the line you are talking about...though no doubt if you are a descendant of Nicholas you already have it. How are you related Camille?

My email is tgwilkinson-AT- hotmail.com

Cheers

Tim Wilkinson

I'M INTERESTED IN TALKING TO ANYONE WITH WEXFORD WILKINSONS IN THEIR TREE!!
