I am interested in anything you have on Eleanor Barry Hayes,(circa late 1700's) sister of Commodore John Barry, father of the American Navy. Eleanor was born in Wexford Ireland. Eleanor was married to Thomas Hayes in IRE and had two sons, Michael Hayes and Patrick hayes, and a married daughter, Eleanor Hayes Kavanaugh. Thomas Hayes died in Ireland in 1785. Eleanor came to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania,USA about 1780 (?)with Stephen, Jasper, and John MOYLAN, and her brother Commodore John Barry, presumably as Jasper Moylan's wife but don't know for sure where they married. They had one child, Jasper Jr, b 1786. She died in 1787 of Yellow Fever and was supposedly buried in a mass grave with other fever victims.
Any info on this family would be very appreciated.
