Newtownbarry is a town/townland in the Barony of Scarawalsh in Wexford. I believe the parish is Enniscorthy.

Wexford B/M/D rcds haven't been digitized yet. They are available through the Co. Wexford Heritage and Geneological Society. Google this name to make contact.

For John Jackson's military records try:
1. http://www.the-dicksons.org/army_ancestors.htm
2. www.familyrecords.gov.uk
3. http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/default.htm
