Amy, thank you for your comments. I have searched our Registry of Deeds here in Ireland and only found three memorials of the documents which are missing. The other Leases or transactions were not registered which makes the originals the only available source to us. Whether memorials or copies were made is immaterial, the original documents should be with the family they belong to. It is the greed of the people that have them that give sharing a bad name. I find myself not wanting to pass on information anymore contrary to a long time standing. Believe me, the people of Wexford are well informed and are aware of these postings. It is only those who have them, the documents, need worry. Nicholas.
