I am suggesting you try to find the tax assessors list of properties, their owners, and the taxes paid. Taxes are generally paid annually; therefore, you SHOULD get 1 year snapshots of the properties owned/leased by your ancestor.

You might be able to request this from the National Archives, but more likely you would have to go to the archives. It is doubtful if the LDS would have this info, but it wouldn't hurt to ask. The key words would be Tax Rolls, Tax Assessments, or Tax Collections.
