I am researching my Lowe family from the area immediately around and just west of Newtown parish and Tyrrellspass. A Cromwellian family settled there in 1650; this family may be the same family or may have coincidentally lived in the same location and used exactly the same unusual naming pattern. Sons were always named Stephen, Thomas, Andrew, William, John, Nathaniel, James, sometimes Richard. Names Samuel, Robert and George also found in this family. Socioeconomic status varied greatly. Many emigrated to Australia and Canada and other parts of Ireland. About eight of them joined the RIC, and one member of this family rented the local RIC barracks' land to them. However, I do not know exactly how Nathaniel connects to this family. He was born 1811/ 1812, probably to someone named Stephen, James, Andrew, Thomas, John... you get the picture. Siblings' births in the same time appear to be missing. Maybe births just weren't recorded in Church of England, I don't know; though Nathaniel was Church of Ireland (England) when he married.
