I searched the Irish Family History Foundation's database. It contains 12,000,000 surviving rcds for abt 65% of Irish counties. Rcds are sparse B4 1840, rare B4 1800. Parish B rcds for Killucan don't start until 1821. If you are SURE Killucan is the right parish, then all that follows is irrelevant.

For John Dardis B 1807 +/- 4 yrs, I found 1 B rcd in 1806 in the RC parish of Milltown. His father's forename was Patrick. A view of the detailed B rcd SHOULD show his parents' names and other info.

Possible siblings and DOBs are Anne 1806, Catherine 1810, John 1807, Michael 1810, Patrick 1821, Ellen 1813, & Elizabeth 1816. From the date redundancy, there may have been two families headed by Patrick Dardis' in Milltown parish.

Google the Foundation's name to lead you to the database. Register, opt to be notified as rcds are added and browse. Pls post you search results to my genforum msg.

Hope this helps. Good luck.
