Abby, The way I found my Peter was by using Griffiths Valuation. There were only 3 Peters in Westmeath and a researcher looked at the films. We were lucky to find his marriage to Rose Kenny/Kenney in the Collinstown parish films the first try. The Westmeath catholic parish films are available thru familysearch.org. You order them and view at a local FHC. Griffiths -- search "cul" for Jane and see if there is a cross reference between moran/cullman in Griffiths (you'll find Colmans also): http://www.failteromhat.com/griffiths.php Do we correspond a few years ago on your Peter Moran? Were they with Kennys? They were grocers in VA? I see them in 1870: 1870 United States Federal Census > Virginia > Augusta > District 1 Peter Moran 33 Julia 37 James 7 Ella 4 John 2 Patrick 1 1880 Staunton - Grocery Merchant: Peter Moran 44 IRe Julia Moran 46 IRE Jas.
