Hi Annie,

How wonderful to get your message. Feel free to contact me directly at cindydayerwin@hotmail.com if you wish.

My sources are unfortunately, only other people's trees. I have 7 independent trees that note Robert Erwin's DOB and place of birth. It seems as though Robert married a woman from a relatively influential (and large) family, so work has been done on her side and he just shows up as her husband.

Having said that, I just did another search for info on Robert and found out some more info - albeit it is unsourced also. Robert Erwin's parents were (according to this new info) Alexander Erwin and Mary Holmes. They were married in Ireland (doesn't say where) in 1772. Seems as though Robert has many siblings - 14 on this tree - birth years ranging from 1774 to 1800.

Not sure there is any connection here, and I wish I was able to give you sourced info, but let me know what you think!

Thanks again!!

Cindy Day Erwin
