Dear Cindy,

Several cousins and I have researched various IRWIN/ERWIN/IRVIN/IRVING, etc. families of County Tyrone, Ireland (now Northern Ireland), especially in the southern part of the county which includes Aughnacloy.

I'll be glad to try to help you if you'll tell me more details of your husband's Aughnacloy ancestor Robert Erwin, born about 1782. Did this Robert emigrate to the U.S. and his birth date is derived from records there? What source indicated that Aughnacloy was his birth place? Do you have names of other family members -- siblings, wife and children, cousins?

Regards,
Annie C.
