I research the Irish Family History Foundation's database. It contains 12,000,000 surviving rcds for abt 65% of Irish counties. Rcds are increasingly sparse B4 1840, rare B4 1800.

Note 1 - Without a KNOWN parish, the chance of an ancestor's rcds NOT being in this database is AT LEAST 35%.

Note 2 - Only 1/2 of Co. Cork's rcds are in this database.

Note 3 - The RC church kept control over most parish rcds from Tipperary (north). These are ONLY available thru the Tipperary Family History Research center at a substantial fee (regardless of outcome).

For James McWilliams B 1799 +/- 4 yrs somewhere in Ireland with the father's forname unknown, the only rcd I found was for a James Williams B 1795 in Co. Dublin. The father's forename was Hugh.

For Mary Simpson B 1805 ditto, I found 3 rcds: 2-1808 Dublin, and 1809 Sligo. Father's names were William, William and Charles respectively.

For Rachel McWilliams B ???? ditto with the father forenamed James, I found 1 rcd in 1823 Co. Cork.

For Jane McWilliams B ???? ditto, I found 3 rcds within a relevant range: 1828 Kildare, 1837 Cavan, and 1841 Limerick.

For John McWilliams B ???? ditto, I found 7 rcds: 1817 Kildare, 1822 Louth, 2-1823 Antrim, 1826 Kilkenny, 1826 Cork, and 1834 Wicklow.

For Moore McWilliams B ???? ditto, I found 0 rcds.

For Isabella Corbitt M 1866 (exact) somewhere in Ireland, I found 1 rcd in Tyrone, Dungannon RD.

For John McWilliams M ditto, I found 8 rcds with 2 in Co. Tyrone. One was also in Dungannon RD. This and the above rcd are LIKELY for these ancestors.

For Rachel McWilliams M 1886 somewhere in Ireland, I found 1 rcd in Co. Tyrone, Dungannon RD.

For George Hurst M ditto, I found ditto. This and the above are LIKELY for your ancestors.
