Borrisokane is a little burg in County Tipperary near Nenagh...look at the Offaly panhandle and Nenagh is just west of Shinrone. There were so many Tipperary Irish who came to Canada and settled...mostly in Carleton County south of Ottawa, in South Huron County in Hay, Stephen and Usborne Twps and there were many around the County of Middlesex. This is all Ontario. There were also quite a number settling across the Ottawa river in Quebec...known as the Ottawa Valley Quebecois. The Haskett surname is linked with the Hodgins families who appear in Middlesex County, Ontario and in Pontiac County, Quebec. Can you be a little more specific about the Haskett christian names you are seaching? [email protected]
