Dave,

I'm not Beryl. Your postings are for my family and Beryl and I established that her Mary Bermingham and my Mary Bermingham are two different ladies (mine living to a grand old age in Clonmel until very recently) with hers emigrating to the UK in the 50's and being laid to rest in Bury, Lancashire. Beryl needs to go back to scratch with the scant facts passed on by her Mary regarding her lineage. You did mention another Humphrey Bermingham in Wicklow and I found another Ellen Slattery in Offally so perhaps those two met. It's an awful shame so many records from the 1800s were destroyed.

Anyway, your research has been very helpful to my own endeavors and was, for the most part, on track.

Best wishes.

Bermingham descendant
