I a looking for additional information about the family of MIchael A. (Arthur?) Hayden, born about 1866 in Nenagh, Tipperary (per 1911 census) and his wife Margaret Mary Connell, born about 1874 in County Galway (per 1911 census. They had three children, Margaret Mary Pauline, born 1907 at Ballinasloe, Galway, Martin Cecil Arthur, born 1908 Ballinasloe, Galway, and Joseph Dermot, born 30 April 1912 at Ballinasloe, Galway, died 20 May 1984 Blackpool, Enlgand. This family resided on Society Street in Ballinasloe. In 1911, there is a Josephine Hayden running a hotel on Dunlo Street, this I believe to be the noted Hayden's Hotel. Josephine is also one of the sponsors for Joseph Dermot's baptism. She is also given as his aunt on a ship's passenger list in 1929. Both Michael A. Hayden and Josephine M. (Mary) Hayden give their birthplace as Nenagh, Tipperary on the 1911 census. Any clue as to which of the many Hayden families they belong to? I think their mother's name might have been Margaret as there was a Margaret running a hotel in Ballinasloe in 1894. The surname Turner also plays into the family, I believe another as yet unnamed (to me) sibling of MIchael A. marriad a Turner and had at least two sons--Patrick (Paddy) and Stanley. Stanley was in Massachusetts by 1929, as this is the person listed by Joseph Dermot on his trip to the US, as a cousin. It is also a possibility that Michael and Josephine's mother's maiden name was also Turner, I found on the IGI on the LDS website a Michael Hayden, born 18 Apr 1866 in Nenagh to Martin Hayden and Margaret Turner. Turning to County Galway, Margaret Mary Connell, wife of Michael A. Hayden, had at least one sibling, Catherine. The surname Fahy/Fahey may also come into play somewhere, but I haven't figured that out yet, that is just word of mouth. Any clues, additions or correction?
