According to a book titled Irish Records by James G Ryan, Ph.D., the earliest birth records for Ballylooby is May of 1828, dito with marriages. He may have been married in Ballylooby if his wife was from the same Parish or, from where ever she was from. No so good so far! I will take a run down to Ballylooby church maybe thurdsday or friday (depending on the weather) and have a look around the grave yard, and see if there are any Ladrigans still in the area, I may even try and take down the priest if Im lucky. jennifer
