It's been a long time since I've talked to you. Unfortunately, my Tahaney information got deleted from MyFamily site. I lost much of it when my computer crashed several years ago, but I've tried to reconstruct much of the information. I know I'm still lacking quite a bit of information. Tonight I noticed that I had a previous reply to my query back in July. I went to the Irish Family History Foundation and paid for 8 searches----didn't find anything on my family that I could tell. I did find one marriage record, though, of an OWEN TAHENNY who married MARY MULROONY 23 January 1840 in County Leitrim, Ireland. OWEN was one of the TAHANEYS in Rama Township, Ontario County, Ontario, Canada. In Canadian records, his wife's name had been given as MALONEY, but showed she was born in County Leitrim, so I'm quite certain this is the same person. However, it didn't give any parents names for either of them.
Several years ago you went to Ireland (I believe it was your first trip). Have you been back since? We were planning on going to Ireland last summer, but it didn't work out and I don't know now if we'll ever get to go.
